The GuRuStu Group recently designed a mobile map for downtown Tulsa’s largest annual festival, Mayfest.

Mayfest 2011 was a huge success and stats on the mobile map show it was a great success as well.

Visitors to Mayfest were able to utilize the map’s search feature to locate their favorite food vendors, their favorite artists, as well as, view the festival’s entertainment schedule.

We had a great time working with organizers of Mayfest and look forward to an even bigger and better event next year.

This Halloween the GuRuStu Group will be rolling along Brookside in our derby box car (now powered with a booming engine). Come join us at the annual BooHaHa parade on Peoria. Great October fun and lots of little ones in their costumes. You just might get some candy.

Lots of great cars this year at the Sand Springs Derby. Some of our crew enjoyed the day racing down the BIG HILL and eating some smokin’ good burgers, cooked on site by the Boy Scouts. Although the GuRuStu Group did not place in the race, we hit the sand hard and learned to master the final turn. A BIG THANK YOU to the Sand Springs Civitans and all the generous sponsors who made this event possible. See you next year!

Proceeds from this event will help fund a signage program for Tulsa’s riverfront.

New signs are much needed to mark entrances, give information and directional guidance.

Our beautiful River Parks is estimated to receive over one million visits per year. New signage will improve the experience for all visitors.

Jordan Haldane was recently awarded a HUGE COOKIE for being the GuRuStu Group’s Intern of the Year. Way to go Jordan!

Jordan was referred to us by his Scout Master just after he graduated from Edison Preparatory High School.

He has been an overwhelming support to our team this year and we appreciate his calm nature and great work ethics. While attending Edison, Jordan was an award winner of the CAN Film Festival, a member of the marching band, and was also successful in becoming an Eagle Scout during his senior year. He is now seeking an Associates in Graphic Design at OSU-IT. We are certainly proud of Jordan.
